Lip blush is designed to enhance your natural lip shape rather than dramatically alter it. Extending too far outside the natural vermilion border can lead to unpredictable healing and less desirable results. Certain skin types, medical conditions, previous filler migration, scarring, or lip conditions can affect how pigment implants and heals. For this reason, a consultation is always recommended before treatment so we can discuss your suitability and desired outcome.
Immediately after treatment, the lips will appear brighter, darker, and more intense than the final healed result. Some mild swelling is normal and typically settles within 24–48 hours. Around days 4–7, the lips will begin to shed as part of the healing process. During this stage, the colour may appear very light before gradually returning. Full healing takes approximately 4 weeks, at which point your true healed colour will be visible.
