For clients seeking the most natural enhancement possible, machine hairstrokes create the illusion of realistic eyebrow hairs using a digital PMU device rather than a traditional microblading blade. Although the finished result still consists of realistic individual hairstrokes, they are created using an entirely different technique to traditional microblading. Rather than using a blade to create tiny superficial incisions in the skin, machine hairstrokes are performed using a digital PMU device fitted with a fine sterile needle. The needle gently implants pigment into the upper layers of the skin through thousands of carefully controlled pixel placements, which are layered together to create the appearance of a single, natural-looking hair. As each hairstroke is built gradually, the treatment takes longer to perform, but allows for exceptional precision, softness and versatility.
This treatment may be recommended if you: Have alopecia or significant eyebrow hair loss. Have little to no natural brow hair. Would like to create fuller, denser-looking hairstrokes. Want to add depth and texture alongside existing PMU. Have a skin type that is less suited to traditional microblading. Every client is different, which is why your consultation is so important.
